Example I went to the laundry mat today an left my phone at home on accident an it killed me..i didnt kno what to do with myself I couldnt call my ride an I had no games to play while time passed. Were I live there isnt many pay phones so your lost without a cell... If u tell someone you dont have a phone they look at you funny its a trend nowadays.. Everyone has a cell...There coming out with ones that are like mini computers... I have the sidekick 2008 an its awesome I can check my email an all... I can Instant message an all.. I hate cell phones. I have one - for emergencies. But I see no need to be tied to the world 24/7 for silliness. I think that talking on cell phones or texting while driving should be outlawed, fined, and if one is caught multiple times doing these, I think licenses should be taken. Accidents happen to people when they're talking and texting - even if they're just walking around. People don't pay attention if they're talking or texting.
I think cell phones are RUDE - if they're answered in restaurants, doctor's offices, the bank, stores. If people answer them at work, I think they should be fired. It used to be that employees could not get personal calls at work unless it was an emergency. I think employers should reinstate that. As a customer, I should not have to wait while a clerk giggles (or argues) with her boyfriend.
I think that cell phones have no place in schools. Kids have been caught cheating with them - by checking the internet or texting with friends. I think they should be banned from schools.

I'm not really into texting like a lot of other people are. I do text people that I do not enjoy talking to, and I don't even text them that often. I think a cell phone is absolutely necessary. It always comes in handy in an emergency situation, or just out and about and need to make a call or if you are expecting one. I did have a home phone, but now I use my cell as my main phone. I don't really like playing games on my phone either. I just use it for all of my calls.

I did but not anymore. My soon to be ex husband had a family sharing plan with Suncom.
He stopped paying the bill on the cell so now i have none. Not even a prepaid one. I don't really need one as i am stuck in the house all day.

Well, before I can't live without a cellphone especially when I'm still studying but now that I'm already working I don't care whether I brought a cellphone or not.. When I was still a student, I always wait for a text coming from my friends, and my boyfriend.. I am also using my cellphone when I'm bored especially waiting for my professors or during my vacant time.. I used to play games and listen to music.. But now that I'm already working, most of the time I'm in front of my computer so I don't need to used my cellphone already.. I'm just chatting with my friends through YM or emails.. I can listen also music from the computer and some how play games if available.. For now, I'm just using my cellphone as a form of communications especially from my family (since I live from other city) and to my boyfriend.. But after the communications, then the value of my cellphone is already useless.. Well, I think if I'm living all alone and there's no computers available, then I will be needing again of my cellphone.. Of course, cellphone is very important especially for emergency.. But just make sure that you always have a load so that if there's an emergency then you can call or text to ask help..

I own a cellphone for the reason that I work 18 miles from home and I am traveling at night, I have my phone for emergencies, thank goodness I haven't had to use it for that reason, I have the lowest plan the carrier offers, and I do not use hardly any of my minutes, the people that I call the most are free to call( mobile to mobile).

A cellphone is all I have. I haven't had a house phone for about 4 years. I am badly disabled and not able to walk very far so I make sure I have my cellphone with me if I go out in the car. If something happened to the car at least I could call someone to come and help me. I think everyone especially the ladies should have one in the car any time they are driving. In fact I take it with me even if I go out on the front porch or out around the house in the yard just in case someone tries to call me. I am concerned about the health hazard of using one of them. That is real close to be to that strong a transmitted signal. Especially that close to our brains.

I cant live without my cellphone. Its a necessity of me. It is the mode where my clients and my family can contact me. Thank God for this technology that can make us communicate with people more easily.

I love my cell phone. I am one of those that gets irritated at people that drive while talking and cause total mayhem on the road. Use it wisely and I think it is the next best thing to sliced bread!

yeah,i think ,cellphone is very important to us.i have two cheap one.
as for when i study in college,i buy one NO.,that number is good ,we can send 2,000 messages ,and make 2,000 minutes to my friends,if we both in this no.zone.so now i take it to my hometown,do not want to give up this no.the second one ,because i am in my home town ,so that NO. is roam,so when i answered the call not in that zone,i will need to pay more money,so i buy another NO.that is why i have two cell phones.i think i am in two mind of these two NO.

The world of technology has expanded so much. When I was a teen we didn't have computers or cell phones.I wish we would have!
Sometimes though... as great as these gadgets are people become too dependent on them.
Cellphones are great in a emergency.Yet I don't think they should be relied upon for entertainment as much as they are.
It is almost like an addiction with some people.

Cell phone is important, but it is not that much important.
technology was not increased that much only 80% of the people
have cell phones. There is need of cell phone, but only upto some extent.
