hey help, i can not install joomla in my laptop!

i can't install joomla in my laptop and I dont know why... and do you have suggested sites that I can browse with regards on using this software? your help will be appreciated

I am using a vista OS.

Installing Joomla is not that hard. There are two ways to install this CMS, first: if you want to install it offline on just in your computer before uploading it online, I suggest you to use WAMP. WAMP is a windows application that will let you run PHP application and mysql database. That program is for free. Just search it online and download it. Once downloaded just upload all joomla files inside the www folder inside the WAMP. Second: if you want to upload it directly online, make sure you have a domain and hosting account, just upload all files inside the public_html folder for cpanel or www for IIS.
