How content or discontent are you with US government?

I know what the general answer will be, though I want to hear some rants and criticisms about what is going on with our leadership, and if you believe opposite, tell me what you are optimistic about. There are a lot of things going on right now, the presidential elections, the 700 billion dollar bail out, etc., so tell me how you feel about this stuff. All I will say pertaining to my own personal opinion is that to me America is not following the same principles set years ago, things have definitely changed since then.
