I use to watch this TV realty game show called fear factor, it was really popular in the US I use to laugh so hard because concept of the show was that in order for people to win the game they had to face there fears by attempting these outrageous stunts, like jumping off a bridge, or driving a car through a flaming hoop I mean it was so crazy and fun to watch some of the contestants even had to eat really gross things like raw pig snout or spiders to win this game, and if the contestant made it to the end of the game they would win 500,000 dollars, but I'm sorry I would love to win that kind of many but I dont think I would be willing to go through all that for the money. how about you what would you do for 500,000 dollars or more?

Hi there apples99 First of all I thought no way I wouldn't do any of that for $500,000 but then I thought that if someone actually waved the money in front of me I sure would be tempted. I think we surprise ourselves sometimes what we would to for a considerable amount of money especially if we knew we would have no more money problems for the rest of life because of it but I actually wouldn't do a bungey jump or something like that.

For $500,000 it's worth giving it a go isn't it? As long as they weren't tarantula spiders they might be a bit tricky to swallow!!

I dont think I would be able to even look at the spiders let alone eat one I'm petrified of spider's I would gag right away hahaha and fear factor only pays people if they swallow it be for time runs out and if you dont swallow the spider down you wont get paid and the attempt will be a waist I dont think I could as much as I would love to have the money ew lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPaMz885OKI

I used to waych yhat show regularly!! It was awsome, though I doubt I would ever find myself doing anything like that for any amount of money. I would rather work my rear off to earn that kind of money than to put myself through those things. If I was offered that sort of cash to do something, it would have to be legal, moral, ethical, and not gross me out.

I liked that show! :-) I would do all the stuff except I think that the only thing that I couldn't stomach doing would be eating the weird, nasty things as much as I would love to have all that money and could greatly benefit from it, I have a very weak stomach. I think all the other challenges would be pretty fun. It's just hte food part I'd have a hard time with!!!

I enjoy watching others try gross things and attempt crazy obstacle's but I couldn't do that myself, just the thought of eating bugs or raw pig snout makes me gag ew, but theres a lot of good things I would do if I won 500,000 but I know I couldn't go that far for the money, lol.

I am also an avid fan of Fear Factor tv show. And winning five hundred thousand dollars would really mean a lot not only for myself but also for my loved ones. If I would be given the opportunity to join this televised contest, I'd definitely try my best to make it and emerge as the winner. Admittedly, I don't think I can take eating the gross and unusual delicacies the show offers to its contestants, like bugs and worm, or rotten foods. My stomach is quite sensitive to this. But if they could prove beforehand that these foods are not harmful to health, I think I will sacrifice eating them. And if I ever win the amount you mentioned, it would be like fiesta for a week or even a month in our place. Five hundred thousand dollars is easily translated to more than twenty million pesos locally. At last, we could buy our own house and lot for my own family. Also, purchasing ten or more hectares of land would already be possible. A lawful and lucrative family business is also on the list. And our daughter's future education will no longer be a problem for me and my husband, until she graduates from any college course she will choose to take. Not only this, I don't have to push through with the plan of working abroad for my own family anymore. And last but certainly not the least, the whole clan could enjoy a weeklong vacation in paradise. Anyway, so much for wishful thinking. Regards.

With 500,000 dollars or more? First, I would definitely buy or loan a house for me and my family. Second, I will pay all my debts like credit cards other loans etc. Third, I will save some money for my siblings to get into college (that is ofcourse if they want to finish their studies). Fourth, maybe I will put up a small business that I can handle so I would have an income aside from working in another company. Last but not the least... my mom has been working too hard... I will give her money and a vacation that she deserves!!!!:) Ahhhh.. so much for adream... hehehe.... I hope it is true. ANyways, thanks for the thread and happy mylotting!

I used to love that, I think I would probably do that stuff for 500,000 dollars. If it was something like a TV show though, I would probably only do it, if I would get some money for each thing I complete (Haha, like they would do that), just for insurance you know. But if it is safe (like the bug eating) I would easily do that for 500,000 I mean that is a lot of money.
