my friends on mylot.From serpember 30 to the present,i am very distressed and frightened.imy child had a high fever of about thirty-nine degree in the evening of september 30.afterwards he was led to convulsed.in the past six days,not only he has been a perssitent high fever but alsr he keep coughing.we are very worried.yesterday, i take him to see a doctor,then to do the EEG.the result is the child abnormalities of EEG.the doctor let us take the child to the other hospitals to diagnose again.let them confire whether it is epilepsy.

i feel sorry when i heared of this ,i am a student now and i know almost nothing about medicine ,so i can not give you some helpful advises ,but i think you ought to obey that doctor's advise and take you child to other hospitals to diagnose again ,you can not waste any time at all ,take action at once my mylot friend .good luch my friend and your child .

I'm so sorry to hear about your sick child. I pray that he/she may regain good health soon. It's really painful being a mother to see her child getting ill especially if there is still no diagnosis on th illness. I hope you can find the best doctor for him/her and don't stop praying, you have our prayers.

i am very sorry to hear that your little one is sick. i thank God that my boys have never been that ill to have to be hospitalized, but even when they are sick with a cold, i am such a worrywart! i remember when my oldest son first got sick when he was just a baby. he had a fever of around 103 F- i was so worried i started crying. my husband told me not to worry but he knew i would want to call the doctor to be sure. that was when i found out that fevers in babies tend to run higher, so they tell you not to worry unless it is 105 or higher. i was still worried, though. i totally understand your fear- that is just you being a mom! i hope that your son gets well soon and that he does not have epilepsy. good luck with all the testing!
