The story after the fairytale

We all know the story of Cinderella, how happy she was finding her prince, the man of her dreams. The story ended with..they lived happily ever after.
But did they indeed?
What do you think was going on in the life of Cinderella once the book covers closed? :) Be imaginative!

I find it easier to close my mind after I close the book. I am not so good with sequels and it might spoil my appreciation of the book if I insisted on continuing it. Cinderella is a nice book. Cheers!!

Cinderella is my favourite! Has always been. I must have read it 10zillion times, I still know it by heart hehe. I also loved the drawings that were in the book, that lovely dress she wore, the beautiful pumpkin carriage, I even loved mices even though I dislike them in RL lol

One of the things I want to do, (I started once, but lost my notes), is write a alternative version on Cinderella. It takes the step mother and step sisters and tells their side of the story where "Cinderella" was actually a spoiled mean girl. It looks at the story in a whole new light that makes you want to look at any story and wonder what's the other side...

I think she had three kids with the prince then found out the prince cheated on her so she left him for some other dude who she had known all of her life and they had two kids and then she lived happily ever after.

This is my first post ever on this website but when I saw this I had to comment. I've actually thought about this a lot (even attempted a story; didn't go so well) and I've finally landed on one, even if it a tad bit morbid. I believe she had a few kids, lived happily for a while but after the good times things start to go downhill. Maybe she speaks out and embarrases him in front of the whole kingdom, then everything she does starts to grate on his nerves. Eventually she ends up beaten and ignored while he has his concubines. Tis atleast a little logical. :3

Hehe this one is a bit sad really, and gives a black spot on the whole story, but it is real, not some romanticize fairytale, but something that very well might happen. I still havent come up with my story, but Im planing :)
