When did you have you first pair of high-heels?

I got my first low-heels 1 1/2 inch heel shoes when I was in grade school which I wore during a party in school. Almost all girls were wearing shoes with heels then. The I had 2 inch heel shoes in high school which I wore to church and during parties in school. Then my really high-heeled shoe like I had difficulty walking as in outbalance :) was during my cousin's wedding where I was her maid of honor. I practiced walking for two days because I did not use high heeled shoes anymore for a long time. In work I wear flats or rubber shoes or flipflops or even boots with only half inch heel. Now, I wear medium heeled shoes for special occasions only.

Hi Dorothy882, I had my first when I was 18 years old. However, I do not really like the high heel shoes...I guess I am too high for a pair of high-heel shoes.....They will make me seem really awkward. Happy mylotting~

It has been a long time since i wore high-heels... and i hate it whenever i have to... live when going to a formal gathering... i usuallyjust wear flats or sneakers... I remember the first time i wore high-heels was during the prom... and when i was still a teacher... i would use like shoes with only 1 inch heels... but nowadays... my world is full of flat shoes...

Hi there Dorothy! I had my first high-heeled shoes when I was in grade six, in elementary and I was about 11 or twelve at that time. I had to practice for some time but I liked wearing it. It made me feel more woman-like, more matured and of course, taller.

hi dorothy, I had my first high-heels 3 years ago, I don't really wear high heels because I walk funny. I mean, because I'm boyish, I'm having a hard time with it. But when I worked in a call center, my colleagues often make fun of me, making me wear such clothes and shoes. Until I bought my first pair of 2inch high-heels sandals. My friends taught me how to walk right, and I think I exaggerated it. [because I was too careful my boyfriend told me I always do the catwalk.] I took it as a compliment so since then, I,well not all the time, often use high-heels shoes since then. By the way, ure right there, it can give us pains,argh,so whenever my friends and i go strolling, i make sure I wear flat shoes.lol,happy mylotting.

i think i was in my grade 6 when i first had my high-heeled shoes. but it was like 1 1/2 inch only. i dont really wear like 3 inches above. i think they;re deadly.. lol
