Hobbies

I can't imagine life without books. Reading is a necessity to me, rather than a hobby, but if I could only have one I would rather not read than not go out walking and enjoying the outdoor environment, if you call that a hobby. I would really go crazy if I couldn't go out for long walks in beautiful natural places.

I would choose surving the internet and do all activities connected to the internet. Before I know about computers and internet, I used to do a lot of reading because reading is my number one hobby. Now I prefer surfing the internet and posting discussions on mylot. I also like to watch television but if I have to choose, I will still choose internet because I can always watch television through the internet, right? Lol...

JuMm... I wouldnt stop reading, or listening to music, I just cant imagine life without those things. But maybe I could live without tv... or maybe not Happy MyLotting and have a nice day! Xp

I too will choose to keep my reading habit. It helps me catch up with the thoughts nowadays plus it teach me new ways of percieving the world around me. I usually read something related to culture coz I want to understant the collective character and aspirations of man. I want the lines filled with issues to solve; opinions of others so I could compare my own; different ways of how man deal with every single situation in life.

although i would hate to give up any hobby, i recently pulled a tendon in my right wrist and was told that i had to stop crocheting for a while :-( but for me, it would be a toss up between doing art and reading - i love them both very much!!

Give up one of my two hobbies?! 'gasp' I can't even imagine, I love both photography and scrapbooking, could I keep both since they do go together? lol But if I absolutely positively HAD to give up one, it would be the scrapbooking, I love taking pictures tooo much! lol

One thing that I can't live without is my computer. So that one hobby for me, will be internet surfing. By this I will be able to entertain myself and earn online as well.

That would be a tough choice for me. I love to read, but I also love to crochet. I don't think I could give up reading, because I read when I go to bed, and reading can be done just about anywhere. I love to crochet and I can do it while watching TV and/or holding a conversation. you can't really do that and read too.

I wouldnt give up travelling.

This is a tough one as i guess you have your hobbies because you enjoy them! I absolutely love reading and would find it really hard to live without but i think i would find it even more difficult to live without music. I love listening to music, in the house, in the car, when i walk to uni, i really don't think i would function properly without it!! Not to mention missing out on awesome gigs in the evenings!! xxx

i want to keep my photography. it's the only thing that i am good at. and i love see in the people behind the lens.

Hi there Anne! I would choose watching television too. As long as I have cable TV. Watching movies and documentaries can substitute reading for me.

Well icnt give up my hobby of feeding birds. I live on the country side and there are so many birds especially peigons and peacocks and squirrils too I just love sittin in my porch and feeding them They ae very close to me and the tome i spend with them gives me immense pleasure and mental satisfaction
