i have a male friend married with a doctor, well he doesnt work, is not because he doesnt want, but taking care of the house personly is almost the same, as if he had a person to clean the house everyday. His wife as a doctor earn 4 times much more so...
but you cannot imagine how everyone takes behind his back about it??
What would you do in that situation??
as a man would you accept to stay at home??
as a woman would you let your man stay at home??

I have a friend whose wife makes a lot of money, he stays at home with their daughter. He takes her to school, girl scouts, and all of her activites, and takes care of the house. I think it is okay, when it is agreed between them. The wife earns enough to maintain the household.
My husband did not work outside of the home, but he was not making much from what he was doing. I worked and basically was the bread winner, but we were only making ends meet. I was laid off from my job, and because he did not work it has put us in a really bad situation. I always wanted him to get an outside job, but he was so sure that his ventures would one day sky rocket, that has not happened.
If I was making enough money at the time to have been able to save, it would not be so bad now.
Bottom line, I do not have a problem with women working and the husband not, as long as the wife is making a descent pay, and they agree to this.

I think it's perfectly acceptable for the man to stay at home while the woman works. There's no law saying otherwise. It's a personal choice for someone to decide whether they're gonna work or stay at home. I'm working on getting a job and my boyfriend will be saying at home, it's no big deal. =)
