Hair cut by own prefered hair stylist?

Hi all, i just have hair cut last week and i just recall my wife ask me a question. Why do you simple find a hair saloon for hair cut? I stare at her and answer, why should i? then we both laugh, she answer that's the different for guy and girl. 
Later today when i ask the same question to my colleague, just get to know most of girl really have preferred hair stylist with reason like scare the new look is uncceptable, etc. You have specific reason ??

Hi adriantys, I prefer to go to the hair stylist that I know, but since I'm not staying in my own country at the moment, I have to go to a different hair stylist! But I don't go very often, I even trimmed my own hair from time to time because I don't like the last hair cut I've got, lol.

I think that most people go to the same stylist because they like the way they cut their hair and are always happy when they leave. I used a new stylist the last time I got my hair cut and was very unhappy when I left. She cut my shoulder length hair so it is wayyy short! I get angry every time I look in the mirror! I will never go back to her again.

Hi Sunshine4, you are true and sorry to hear your situation. 
. But in my areas, those hairstylist are close shop quite frequent thus always need to find new one. And every time the output is different, somtimes feel great, sometimes is not satisfy.
