Sorry this is so late but, because Sunday is a huge TV night for the hubby and I, we didn't get to catch up and watch The Amazing Race until late last night so, I couldn't get to discussing it until now.
So, wow...Ken and Tina are a piece of work. For those of you who can't remember everyone's names just yet...and I am one of those people but they stood out...Ken and Tina are the couple who are sort of trying to work their marriage out because he cheated on her and she is trying to forgive him. And, if that doesn't help, they are the couple who took the credit for having the entire airline switch to a bigger airplane to be able to fit all of the teams. Right! They had everything to do with it. They are that darn good that they were able to actually talk an airline into finding a bigger plane. Uh huh! One thing though, was it just me or did they maybe just edit out the part where Tina...who took full credit for it...asked the airline to find a bigger plane to acomodate more people? I must have just missed that part. Seriously? If I were her hubby, her friend, one of her relatives, one of the other Racers, or just a random stranger that happened to have the unfortunate luxury of ever being in her presence, I would have had to tell her to Shut the F Up! Good grief is that woman annoying! "I'm not saying that you owe me but..." Psst...Rosekitty...here it comes! Wait for it! You know, I told you so has a brother! His name is Shut the Hell up! LOL! I know...she didn't say I told you so but, I can imagine that she is exactly that kind of person that says it more often than not! I am just pre-empting her! LOL! I really despise Tina! I feel sorry for her hubby. Not that I condone cheating. Trust me...I really can't stand cheaters. But, he probably found someone that wasn't so freaking beyotchy and enjoyed not constantly being snapped at and told just how wonderful she is every second the day. I hope they go soon.
Guess what Tina...you had nothing to do with the airline changing to a bigger plane! NADA, ZILCH, NIX, NINE, NO, NUH UH! NOTHING! They did it because they could and because they wanted to. Not because of you. You didn't even ask them to and, even if you had, they wouldn't have granted that request simply for you. It was simply a good way for that airline to make more money based on necessity! But, I digress! Because, Tina...after all, you are a Queen. You are all that is right with this world. Ask and you shall receive. You are the one and only reason that that airline chose a bigger plane! Yup! All you!
LOL! Whew! Can you tell I can't stand that woman? LOL!
So, what did you think? Are you grateful to Tina for getting the bigger plane? Or, are you like me and want to slap her silly and tell her she had nothing to do with it? LOL!

Tina just wants to show that she is in control, too bad she's setting herself up for a life of lonliness, no man wants a woman who thinks she's right all the time and she's displaying what a witch she is. I don't condone straying but if I had to live with that I'd surely be wishing I was someplace else too.

In all the time I've watched the Race TYina is
the only contestant that I can truely say I hated.

LOL! I hear ya. I don't condone straying either but, yea...I can't say that I am shocked that he did if she is that imposing all the time.
And GB, I agree. She is really hateable (I know that is not a word). She really is just so hard to find even one redeemable quality in.

LMAO..thats a good one Cortjo..couldn't have said it better myself..and i'm glad they made it to number 1 cause thats probably the last time they will..lol..I'm glad the others were thinking the same that "she got them the big plane and owes her big time"..lol..what a maroon and I say they deserve eachother..him for trying and her for well forget it..hee hee

Yeah, they won and got the ATVs. Whooo boy. Somehow, Tina does not strike me as the ATV type. Last week the siblings got a trip for two. I notice Phil left out the word 'romantic" that is usually used when describing the trips. I think last season icked the viewers out when the siblings kept getting the trips and they were described that way. You know Tina was thinking this week, "I got a bigger plan for everyone and I didn't get a trip out of it?"

I hope that it is the last time they make it to #1! In fact, to be more specific, I hope they make it to the last place this week! LOL! And, I think you are right. They do deserve each other. I wouldn't want them to spread their kind of crazy to other people. LOL!

I missed the last half of this week's episode. I was out and Tivo flipped to PBS for the last half. So, if someone could fill me in after the bimbos were digging for the container on the beach (hahahahahahahahaha), I would appreciate it.
Anyway, yeah, Tina is a piece of work. Terrence did call her on it. But, he is a bigger jerk that she is, so eveyrone ignored him. I mean his WHINING about the little boo-boo he got was ridiculous. And Sarah feeds his drama. She claims she is trying to head it off, but she is feeding it by giving in. I would have looked at it and said "You'll live" then moved on. If he had kept whining, I would have told him to be a man and suck it up.
The comic book geeks are my favorites. I didn't think I would like them, but they are just nice and funny and go about racing. They don't whine about the other teams, they don't care about where the other racers are. They jsut run their race. Whch since I like them means they are not destined for long on the race.
Oh and good thing Anthony and whats here name were eliminated htis week (that I did find out). They couldn't handle the poverty in Brazil. Can you imagine their reaction when they got to India? India gets everyone on this race.

I get the feeling, a lot of teams had no clue what they were in for this season. Someone in the first leg remarked how hard it is to cope in foreign countries. Ummm, except for the start and finish, you are in foreign countries for the entire race. If you find coping in foreign countries difficult, maybe the Amazing Race is not for you.

It sounds like you caught the most interesting parts. One part you missed was that they were supposed to take a taxi to one location and tell the taxi driver to stay put and the blonds forgot to tell theirs to stay so, they got done with the challenge and were looking for another taxi when they finally saw that theirs had been pretty much right there the whole time. LOL!
The comic book geeks make me laugh but, I am not sure what I think about them yet. Although, I do agree that they are just running the race and not oozing with drama.
Freaking Sarah and Terrence. That guy needs to grow a set! LOL! What a little needy girl he is turning out to be. Sheesh! She just needs to get out of that relationship as soon as they get out of the race. Then, perhaps the witness protection program will keep her alive. That guy just seems to have the potential for psycho IMO. LOL!
Tina...I just can't say anything good about that woman. LOL!
As for Anthony and what's her name...I hadn't really formed an opinion about them yet so, I don't have much to say about them but, you are right...they should have gone in with a little more of an iron stomach if they were so thrown off about Brazil's poverty.

I did not get to see this Sundays ep[isode.
I had a new TV and sound system set up and it wasn't sone till after the show started.
I did watch the ending though.
I am liking the 2 blondes. Forgot their names though.

LOL! Congrats on your new TV and sound system! And, sorry you missed most of the show. I don't think I like the blonds but, that could change. Especially since I don't have a favorite yet. I have people I'd like to see go but, no one I am actually rooting for yet. LOL!

Girls, let this be a lesson to you. Never, EVER shave off or tweeze your eyebrows until there's nothing left. If you do, then please learn how to draw eyebrows. Don't be like Tina.
I don't like Terence either. If I was Sarah, I probably would've pushed him back down the hill by now. The dude needs a chill pill.
And Kelly and Christy...I hope they've learned their lesson and will read each clue carefully from now on. Those are the kind of mistakes that will get you eliminated. No telling what place they would have finished in if they had their heads on straight.

LOL! I haven't noticed Tina's eyebrows but, I do have to say something about that. It is not a good thing to assume someone is lacking brows because they shaved, plucked or waxed them off. Trust me. I have a genetic disease that I inherited from my Mom and her side of the family where, the older I get, the less brows I have. I have to draw mine in and, I can assure you, I have not done anything to lack eyebrows. It sucks! I hate it but, it is the cross I must bare. So, as much as this pains me to do, I might have to defend Tina here. She may not have a choice about her brows. Granted, she should learn how to draw them in so it is a little less noticeable. But, you never know what the reason is for a lack of brows. I have had people scold me, presume to tell me how NOT to remove my brows, and even say, "Uh oh...someone went a little crazy with the tweezers". Yea! I am very aware of this problem I have. It embarrasses me because I can't leave the house without drawing brows on. And, I have bad days where I don't get them even and days where it will take me 20 minutes of drawing, wiping off, and starting over on one brow to get it right.
So, I am sorry to have just written you a book there. And, please don't take this the wrong way. I am not trying to scold you or anything. I just felt like I had to share that because, you really have no idea. She may have jacked her brows up and I may be defending the wrong person. But, for future reference, you never know who has the same genetic disease that I have so, you never know who can't do a darn thing about a lack of brows. LOL!
Terence and Sarah drive me crazy too. Not necessarily her but, him! Sheesh. That man needs to grow a set. I agree with you. I wouldn't have pushed him down he hill too. LOL!
I don't think I like Kelly and Christy right now but, that could change. But, I do agree that if they had paid attention to the instructions, they may have beat Ken and Tina and, I would have been fine with that. LOL!

It is a good tv reality show which is shown on axn
It sa very interesting show as it show u about the story of few people who stay together and what the things they do for their survival..

I can't stand Tina. I wish that she didn't see that other guy writing down all the names on the wall, becasue of him, they were the first to finish last week and won the toys. I hope that something terrible happens in her game and they end up going home real soon!!
I don't know the other teams yet...just Tina stuck out because she is way too annoying! I was happy to see the girls who let their taxi go, find another one and not end up being last.
I thought it was crappy of the one guy who said he would come back and help another guy at the wall if he was right and then he just took off! Come on, I know its a game, but he could have easily took one minute and helped that guy since he told him he would.
So far it is a good race. Can't wait till next week...I have to focus on names!

Freaking Tina! LOL! That woman really needs to go. I feel sorry for her hubby because, inspite of his cheating on her in the past, he does seem like he has some redeemable qualities bu, she is a mess and that makes him a bit of a mess too by proximity. LOL!
As for the two girls that let their taxi go, I don't really like them that much so, I was not really wishing them well. LOL!
I do like the guy that was waiting for the other guy to come back. And, I think the other guy might have been Nick but, I can't remember. I can't remember the name of the one that was waiting for him to come back but, I do remember that they have gotten a nickname. They are Team Superbad because he looks like Seth Rogan from Superbad...I think that's that guys name. LOL!
I am having a hard time figuring out everyone's names too.
