Three big NO'S of casual conversation.

Do you personally have any big no-no's of casual conversation that you made for yourself when either you first meet somebody, don't really know someone or just plain don't want a conversation to go horribly wrong. I have three big No's for casual conversation, that I don't ask when I first someone or when I don't know them that well. They are, in no particular order, Religion, politics and abortion. Over my life, I've actually seen discussions over these three topics cause physical fights. So I generally wait until I know someone a little better to bring these up. Do you have any rules for casual conversation or for conversation when you first meet someone? Thanks for responding to those that do!
