Gray or Color your opinion please?

I colored my hair for years and it just kept getting more and more expensive. I wear my hair really short so the color grew off really fast. I decided to let it go Gray to see how much I had and if I liked it. I have gray most around my face and some on the top, I really like it and so does my husband. My children do not they want me to color it again. I keep thinking I am fooling myself and it does not look good and they are right that I should color it again. So what do you think should I trust my own judgement or the kids.

I think you should trust your own judgement. You know what you want to see in the mirror. Your husband likes it and that is a good sign.;-)
But of course it does not matter what anyone else thinks about your hair color anyway because it's about what makes you feel good.
I think gray is a beautiful color for hair if it is natural because natural is always beautiful! Try keeping the gray color for awhile and see how it feels. It might just grow on you (no pun intended).
If you are still worried about it, you can get creative and take some photos of yourself with your style and see how good it looks. I'm sure your face is beautiful and it wouldn't matter if you had green or purple hair. Especially not to the people who love you.
You can always change your mind in the future.

Thank you for your response amd yes I will leave it Gray and see how it goes. One of the problems I had when coloring my hair was it always turned out to dark or had a lot of red in it. Not much looks worse than a older person tht gets that really black hair that does not look natural. I have a aunt that has done this ever since she was a teenager and it looks awful and ages her. I know other women who do this but say their husbands like it.

I think that when you get a certain age, you should keep your gray. At some point the color has to stop. I just hope when I start to gray, I look good with it.
