one of the most embarrassing and fraustrating moment in my life.... EVER

Hi mylotters :) I was going out for some job hunting, since I really need a job so I can at least pay off my credit card bills, and some more money for the gas. Last Friday (EST time zone) around 6:00 p.m., I found this Chinese restaurant, so I walked in and asked them if I can get a job at the restaurant. I gave them my name, phone number, and I don't know why, but they asked my nationality (ok... -_-) so there, I gave them my personal information that they asked for, and I left. The next day, which is Saturday, I was just mylotting as usual and just chilling with my computer. I then got a phone call frmo that Chinese restaurant, which told me that I can come to work on that day starting at 4:00. (Hooray I finally got a job...) I was pretty excited and happy that I can finally go out and earn some money. They positioned me as a cashier, and I had like absolutely no experience as a cashier, and I even never worked at a restaurant before!! I even told them I would prefer to be a dishwasher, because it seems like the easiest job in the restaurant, right? So I've been working there for two days, and on Sunday evening, when I was about to leave, I asked the boss what time I should be back for work. Since I had to go to school on mondays, the boss told me to give her a call on Tuesday. (ok... why?) So I did, which I gave the boss a call today around noon. And guess what? Oh no! The other employee answers the phone, so I asked the guy if I can talk to the boss. He says, the boss is not at the restaurant at that moment. I was gonna tell him that I will call back later, so I was going to hang up. He told me to wait, and after like 2 minutes of waiting, he comes back to me and tells me that boss said she won't need me anymore (WTF?!?!?!) So basically, I got fired, right? The boss just simply fired me without even giving me some more days to practice with the cash register machines, so that s.o.b just fired me!!! So I got fired from that restaurant after working only 2 days!!!! (yea probably the world record) Has this ever happened to anyone here? Am I being too negative about it, or would it have been obvious for me to get fired without getting any more chance to at least familirize myself with the position? Are they just being racist to me, because they are Chinese and I'm Korean? You can criticize me all you want, or any other help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading my story, and happy posting :)
