fall weather

This time of year I think of my childhood and things we used to do. What are some of your fun memories of fall weather.

Hello dmartin51 long time no see!!
Well I remember as a kid we used to go on lovely walks with thick jumpers and wellies on and kicked all the piles of leaves that had formed by the autumn wind. It's not like that here in England anymore it's all wet everywhere!!

Hey Humbug,
We also did the leaves thing. We "had" to rake them so after we would jump in them for a while, then my father would burn them. Burning leaves always brings back that memory. My sister lives in England and she says the same thing, it's always wet. She lives in Richmond. Where are you?
I also remember getting new clothes for school, that was always fun and it included alot of plaids.

We lived on a farm and had some many beautiful memories of fall. We actually did the hayrides! Yes...and big Halloween parties where you dunked for apples. I had a love/hate relationship with that one! LOL....we would rake the leaves and my dad would have a great big bonfire where we got to toast hotdogs and marshmallows...I have always loved the fall!
