Did you watch the debate? What did you think?

I watched it and to my great surprise (NOT!) McCain's personality hasn't improved anymore than his policies. It was an interesting debate between the "Grumpy Old Man" and "That One", as McCain called Obama at one point. It was also interesting that, while the Obama's remained and spoke with the audience for a time after the debate had ended John and Cindy McCain couldn't make their escape quickly enough. He did throw out a new piece of pork that I can't imagine the right going for - his promise for the government to buy all the bad mortgages so people can refinance their homes for the new, lower value. It was also made clear that he wasn't comfortable bringing up the allegations he sent his running mate out to talk about for the past five days.
I'm hearing the reviews and the polls are already coming in and they're not very good for McCain. Even his own party isn't too pleased with him right now.

I'm thinking that I have no more information that is of value to me in this decision than I did before it started.
I may have to listen to the follow up commentary to sort through this one. George Stephenopolous, Charlie Gibson..... I hope they have some insights that I guess I missed.
