I had a long distance relationship. A net friend who is now my husband of 5 years. It was sometimes stressful due to the long distance and became expensive as well. But if you fall in love with someone the distance doesn't matter. It can also work to your advantage if you are confused about the relationship, the distance and time between visits gives you time to think about it.

it depends on your interest in it... but friends whom you know and who are near are open to you and close to you than those you meet in net

i've tried a net relationship once, didn't last because we never decided to meet or even talk to each other in person. but i did have a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for a few months. it was hard but we made it last. the phone bills were terrible though. but eventually he moved up to me and we were together again. if love is there, then i think it should be able to last. but now, i hate being separated from my husband for more then a day. i just get really sad wanting him home near me.

It could, but It would be better to think of it as an open relationship until you two meet, after all people have needs!
