I reached a 10!!!

em]w00t[/em]So strange!!! I've been a member of mylot for almost a year. Since I first received my star rating I've been a 9. I pretty much don't give much thought to it anymore.
I just go merrilily along and post. I haven't posted for about 2 months now. I've been super busy with work and family events ... etc. Plus I really just didn't have anything to say. 
I was on my second post today when I saw a blue star with a 10 in it!!! SO excited! I have no idea how long its been there or how long its going to last but I'm stocked! Yippee!
I've had a pretty stellar day and this just adds to it.

I know what you mean!! My star was red for 9 or so months. I just stopped looking at it until now....Only because it changed and caught my eye. I like blue sooo much better!

I do really like your avatar. The flowers are pretty and I really dig the blue tones. Its very relaxing. ALmost like a sea of flowers.
Blue is so much better than red!

Its okay. You're barely limping behind me with your 9. However, you are way way ahead of me in your number of posts. You have 6 times as many as me. Lol I don't know how you have so much to say!! All your posts are great though.

Sometimes being too busy for mylot is a good thing.

Congratulations to you and I hope you still have your 10. Sorry...as I bookmarked this page and it has been here for a week( I am busy with my work and this is my second response after a month plus absence), I couldn't check whether you still have your 10 or not(I hope you have...) Thank you very much! I can't believe I still have my ten. Perhaps it is because I haven't been posting much of late. I've been super busy with various docter appointments and two jobs. Lol I haven't given people much cause to rate me poor..

what does this star rating mean? im new here, i think i dont have a star yet. what should i do to have one? you have a 10, you must be very good in english and you must laso have tons of discussions posted. i wish i could do the same. can you give me ome advice on how to improve my englishn especially on writing opinions and comments...tnx

Welcome to mylot!
I think this is a great way for you to improve your English. To write and respond to posts here. I think you have written your response very well. Don't worry so much about grammar, just making sure your point is clear. I have terrible grammar and English is my first language.
Star rating is the rating people give you on posts. See the plus and minus signs beside people's names? You can rate people that way. Most people don't rate negative unless the person says something really bad. We really like to support people people here.
You don't get a star rating until you post over a certain amount. I can't remember the number. I've been here for a year... so I've had lots of time to post.
Just keep it up!
