Do you often turn your head when someone suddenly mentions your name?

that reminds me of my first year in college. i've been receiving some mysterious number on my phone and so i decided i won't look at anybody calling any name that sounded like mine (or almost). it was pretty hard. i didn't have it sorted well enough so sometimes when people are calling me i ignored them and when people called somebody else i turned trying to find the source. and then my classmates and close friends started to give me a nickname so i only respond to the nickname. simple. i did some quick research and found out that only 3 person at that time having the same name like mine and some few others sounded like it. so sometimes i turned to see if anyone is calling me. a few years after that we have tons of juniors with names like mine so back to the nickname. then again, i'll turn to anybody shouting anyone's name in public (a little louder than the usual) just to see what the heck is going on

Yeah! BEcause more often than not, thy're calling me. I'm famous. Hahahahahah! Just kidding. Seriously, yeah, i do. I dont know, but it's an aotomatix reaction for me.

yeah of course, i turned my head through.. I just want to know the face of the person who have the same name as me. Sometimes i hate it knowing other have the same name as me, because i would like to have that name so unique. But what can i do, names are so commong..You cannot there is really name the same name with your name, But mine is not exactly..because i have two names...only one name can be the same at a time.

I usually do. I mean, I would turn my head when someone mentions it. But, it is also typical of Filipinos to turn their heads when someone would say "psstt" to them.
