do your parents ever mind your spending time with friends

When I was a kid my parents never really had a problem with me hanging out with the few friends I had,even though my mom never liked a few of my friends and I can understand why because now that I am older I see they are trouble and they just want money and they come around when they need something,even though my parents do not have a problem with me and my fiance seeing our friends especially the one we are closest to,because they do not have a problem with him.

As I can remember, my parents were very particular with my friends before. They really made it sure that I was in the right hands and company when I was out. In that case, my friends were not only close to me but to my parents as well.

No, my parents were cool. They knew all my friends so it was easy to spend time with them I just had a hard time asking permission to go out at night as they were quite strict. I was still able to attend parties and stuff. They also allowed me to stay at my friends' place for the whole day, as well as when we were dismissed early or suddenly declared "no class".

Yes,they do because they're afraid that I will not be safe. I'm sad that they don't trust my friends and me either. Sometimes, I will not let them to be with their friends if it's already late.

When I and my brothers were still in grade school we always have meetings with mom about issues affecting us like spending time with whom and how many hours or days should you spend time. I always follow the "rules" except for some times that I broke the rules. Spending time with friends is okay but should have a limit and not go overboard like everybody's parents are now looking for their children in your home and vise versa because it's supper time already or curfew time. And it's always what you and your friends are doing while spending time together. Is it good or bad?
