Do you think a girl should marry someone who is much older than she is?

Souls have no age, they are always young...the body gets old but the soul doesnt. Thats how I look at this. So if two people meet, fall in love, there is really no limit in age difference. Love is all that counts.

no. i think a girl should marry someone she loves and chooses to marry whether or not the guy is old. yet anoybody should get married at the right age, mid 20's and up regardless if she will know they will have a stable income because one should be able to be experienced in life before marrying.

Life, love and romance have no SHOULDs; or for that matter MUSTs when it comes to matters of the heart. However in some cultures for example Muslim cultures they insist that the daughter should marry the parents choice. Even if he is an old geezer. But in a free choice situation, it is best to follow what your heart says; and sometimes younger women get enormous security in their relationship with older men. Cheers.

My father was 13 years older than my mother. She never had to work a day in her life. He left her with an estate of over 3 million dollars. He took great care of her and his family. Older men seem to have more appreciation for the younger women. However, too much older wouldn't work because they would have little in common and she may end up alone sooner than she'd like.

The decision is not ours to make. I don't see anything wrong with this situation. In fact, many women I know prefers guys who are their seniors. It's a case to case basis after all. It's hard to manipulate and control two people in love. Happy posting.
