Does anyone remember this show? Or how about the other one, that was more of a mall game? My sister and I, as well as my mom used to watch this together. We were all fans of the show. I don't think that my brother ever was into the show.
Don't ya kinda wish they'd bring the shows back? I haven't seen it in years but assume they still play it on the game show network, or on late night television.
What was your favorite part of the show?
I can't really say I had a favorite part.

I remember watching Supermarket Sweep after watching Shop till you drop. My favorite part is watching the team run around the store looking for the grand prize at the end of the show.

I know I loved the ending part as well, and I believe I would try to guess along with the contestants, just to see if I could guess it before them. I'd almost scream into the t.v. too, come on, you know it's borax! lol! in any case, I agree it brings back memories. I youtubed it too, but only watched one episode of it! Now I just need to figure out the name of the other show... I appreciate the response.

It would be awesome if they would
bring those shows back.
I remember watching them back in the
day. Was it the 80's or 90's?
Can't remember.
I liked the Supermarket sweep.
So funny to watch the Desperate Housewives
lugging those gigantic turkeys around
in those wobbly carts.
And, the other one where they would
exchange the boxes and keep or save a box
with a prize in it at the "mall".
I don't know the name of it either.
But I liked that one.
They used to play them back to back on PAX tv.
Gues it's on Game show network now.

I don't pay close attention to the game show network so I don't know if they do play repeats on that show or not. I think it started in the '90's but it may have started in the 80's. I wish I knew the name of the other show, I could try searching it, but I don't know if it would do much good.. probably bring up a lot of malls

I remember the show. I always wished I could get on the show. I would have went right for the lobster, steak, shrimp, and then the gourmet stuff in jars and bottles. The stuff I knew I couldn't afford. I would have won that show. It's sad we don't have shows like that anymore.

I remember Supermarket Sweep! My dad and I used to watch it all the time. He would always sit there and go over what he would do if he was on the show. And just like any other show, we would yell at tv when someone couldn't figure out the answers. It was frustrating to watch sometimes. LOL

I was one to yell at the t.v. too, and I admit it was frustrating but kind of silly so I have to laugh at myself. Yes, I know I'd often think of a strategy, like which aisle to go too, I'm sure if I were to be a contestant in the show (if the bring it back) i'd be the one with guards on my body and buggy, bumping in to people and running up and down aisles grabbing everything!

Usually it's on satellites, I don't think I've seen it on regular cable. I watch Deal Or No Deal sometimes, never seen Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader, I am sure it is fun to watch though. This Morning I went on youtube and watched an episode of it.

I think that it would be a fun gameshow to watch again. After all they brought Family Feud Back, the guy that played AL on Home Improvement is the game show host of that. I appreciate the response. I think I am going to go try and find some episodes on youtube! lol!

I think I kind of remember the game show Supermarket Sweep but I am not sure if I ever really watched it though, even though I think I might have seen it a time or to with my parents, and I do wish they would bring back that show and a lot of other shows that used to be on the Game Show Network and I especially miss shows like Match Game,The Price is Right, and a lot of other shows that were a fun to watch on television.

Yes I think that it would be very nice if they would bring back some of the shows that they had as it would be great. I would also like to see The Pyramid again. I can play the Super Market Sweep for you later.

Yes it was a fun show. I looked up a video for it this morning on youtube, and to my delight there was some "behind the scenes" things for it. A person had actually been on the show and told us about the stage being as big as a grocery store and how the audience was projected by mirrors, how there wasn't a real audience there during the taping but before the show there was. Most of the audience was "actors" so the enthusiastic, or lack thereof was all fake... Oh yes and of course the clapping was edited in. I suppose that it's better that they did not have live audience while being filmed as I'm sure it would make some people feel uneasy while doing the competition.
