I wouldn't want to live forever! Life is hard as it is and to endure that for a eternity is torture!

To live forever would be a curse. Before answering this question you'd have to ask two others:
1: Would I continue to age, becoming a brittle, enfeebled, ancient old pile of rotting decay?
2: Should the entire world end, or the population diminish, would I finally be able to rest at the end of recorded human time?
If the answer to question 1 is a no, if I were able to retain my youth and age as I willed it.
And if the answer to question 2 is a yes, being able to end your own life when all the rest of existence ceases to be.
There is so much to do in this world and we have but a century to accomplish as much as we can. Some of us accomplish many things, others do absolutely nothing. Watching people die would not effect me nearly as much as the regret of being a mortal failure. The greatest thing we can ask for in this world is more time. Time is always running out.
