On Death Row and Innocent

A fetus is not an "innocent". It's a neutral organism.It doesn't even have brain activity or primal sensation until more than halfway through the pregnancy. Women have the right the chose what happens to their body and that's all there is to it. End of story.

If I go to Barbados this year then Costa Rica will still with there for me to go to in 2009. Once a lady aborts her baby, he or she is killed without any choice. No amount of money can bring back to live an aborted baby. All yet to be born babies are innocent and they develop at every stage of the pregnancy. I was offered an abortion at 36 weeks pregnancy because they found out my son has spina bifida. I said NO THANK YOU. My son was born at home and then he went to be cared for in a special care baby unit for three weeks. He is a happy little 16 month old toddler now. It is sad that when disability is found in pregnancy abortion is offered and it is only later that a lady will find out about support that will help her baby to live. In the afternoon I was given a tour of the special care baby unit. Wow! Some babies born as early as 24 weeks pregnancy survive and they are tiny. Perhaps when six months old they might be like a large new born baby. Abortion is legal up to 24 weeks pregnancy in my home country and I was shocked to hear I would have been allowed one at 36 weeks pregnancy. Imagine a future great person being lost through an abortion. Oh, that one might have been as musical as Mozart, well the mother to be 'not' will never know.
