when your children are in dancing, singing, modeling, piano or any other musical instrument, and all sports whose decision was it? Did your child want these things or did you want them for your child?

I have no children yet, but looking back at my childhood I remember that I had to go for dancing, playing piano and so on. And I should say that it was my mother's choice, not mine. I want to tell that my future children will choose what they like not me.

I am so glad you feel that way-I have witnessed first hand a father wanting his son to take guitar lessons and the son didn't want to-the father did make the son take them and i thought that was so wrong-his son was 8 years old-happy mylotting

I will always let the children choose their own activities. Just because all the neighbors send their child to piano classes doesn't mean I have to do the same. Time will come for the children if they want something.

giving important to our children is the best thing to do. in what ever activities he/she wants as long as we can, why not giving them a chance to do it on their own.

i never really tell my daughter what she should do or not. if we see her dance...we dont mind at all. if she sing...she can do it. she's still a kid and is just starting to learn a lot of things in life
