Being a christian, do you pray before you eat?

I know many of us do not pray before we eat. I do that too. I haven't been born in a family who pray before eating and I haven't taught myself the practice but I pray everyday and even pray the rosary to thank God for His blessings and ask for guidance and blessings as well.
I pray before sleeping but not before eating. My thank you prayer for my meals is included in my prayers for the day.
As Christians, do you pray before eating??? We want to hear from you...

There are times when I do pray, though I have to admit that there are times that I don't pray before I eat and that is something I want to change. I have prayed in restaurants with my boyfriend, but we slacked off.

We MUST pray before we eat, we pray to GIVE THANKS to the LORD for the Food. Therefore, those who doesn't pray doesn't give thanks, how ungrateful person! We also pray so that God bless the food and even though you've eaten POISON without your knowledge it won't harm you, that's the promise from GOD. So never ever forget to Give thanks to the Lord before you EAT!

One more thing, why we should pray before we eat because Jesus GAVE thanks for the food before he handover the food to his disciples to be set before the people who came to hear his sermon, remember the mount sermon? Jesus Is OUR EXAMPLE, We are To Follow HIM, so He gave thanks for the Food and so should we!

I do pray before I eat. I have been raised in such a family that prays before meal, so I have that habit. I don't pray before I sleep though. Rather when I get up in the morning and have my devotion I include it for sleeping too :-)
