I think men LOVE to tell their mates they're henpecked! Then they can have a bit of a moan about how badly off they are - but secretly, they love it! They love having someone organising them - and I've found men who work hard all day love to come home and have things sorted.

I don't think so. I think men live their lives by their rules. This is just what they think because they get caught a lot. They live by woman's rules for a while for things to cool down and get back to what they usually do after a while. They complain a lot that they cannot do whatever they want when in a relationship. These are not woman's rules, it's God's rules.

Well, my son live's with me and he 18. And yes he is still living by my rules to a point. I gave him the your a man now so you no longer have to ask me if you can do things but just let me know if your not coming home so I don't worry. Plus there are other rules. As it is my house and yes mummy has the last say in anything in this house as Mummy pay's the bills. I don't think there is anything wrong with it if they choose it. as maybe they can't take care of there own things. Your friend onlydia

I think that they both may rule, because the man is the working one (for money), and the woman is the one who keeps everything clean (also hard work but no money). So i think that both must rule.

Absolutely. I most certainly live within a female lead relationship. My wife is The Boss here. She oversees the running of the house - I do most of the vacuuming, washing and ironing, cleaning and food shopping - and gives me my orders for the day. In exchange I am allowed to ask for and usually receive anything that my heart desires, provided that it is within budget etc. I make important decisions like when to have my hair cut and, if I'm cooking, what we will eat. My female friends treat me much the same way - especially on here! That's how we like it and it works for us. The one area where she does not "rule" is my access to the Internet. I may come and go at will here. I suppose that if she really wanted to give me a hard time she could always take the power cable away! SHRIEK!

hi marina well in my house when my hubby was alive, we shared the r ules, we had a democracy and I never ruled my husban in any way. However since he was notoriously bad with our finances I was the one elected to balance the checkbook and pay the bills otherwise we would keep getting those nifty little payment overdue' notices or having a utility shut off. but this was my husbands choice. Also I got the dubious honor of sending out greeting cards for various holidays and doing all the Christmas cards each year. so yes we ruled about equally I would say.

I think they say this because in an effort to please the woman of their life they tend to do anything or everything that their woman likes. Thus, making them think that there are rules that the woman has laid for them to follow. I say this, because i myself is encountering this right now. This special man in my life use to tell me that he will do anything that would make me happy. It is not because i am controlling his life, but because it is the way he thinks. Even, in his job, he even asks my permission if he can leave for work, when i still have something to say or want for him to do. Sometimes, its kind of sweet of him but most often i don't like the idea of him being so submissive. There is nothing wrong with it but i would love for him to speak his mind more often.

well, it depends on the culture itself...each culture carries the good and the bad sides of both genders...but usually, men love very much to be the leaders every where they step in... although we started to see the kingdom of super women these days, but unfortunately, the kingdom is not yet thoughtfully accepted among others... I don't like the idea if women rules should be the one to follow.. It should always be by the head of the family. although it's usual in our society that girls would like to outsmarted guys but it seems not appropriate. And If i'll be getting married someday, I wouldn't treat my husband down. Instead we should both work to come out with good decision making..it's a matter of communicating.

i find my wife wears the pants in the family so ya i have to listen to what she wants or i hear the whineing and theres nothing worse then the whineing its easyer just to do what she wants.

Women have their own way how to manage everything and people around them. And we know, what they do, its not simply to rule and limit people's lives. Yeah, of course, as a woman, im totally agree with that. I want everything really in my control, manage everything, and make something totally better and something good to look at. We enjoy to see everything clean and beautiful, just like flower... we love flower and arrange our own house the way we are... Men may have ability to make their rules, but they still need the rules that made by women... since naturally, women able to control many things around them. It doesnt mean women will control the men's lives, we just wanna take care of them the way we are. Hahaha...
