I prefer some light reading. I always carry one of my favourite;s author Stephen King books with me. On my honeymoon I carried the book Misery with me! It's a joke that I always tell my friends to tease my wife. I did not know that married life was going to provide otherwise I would not have read the book in the first place.

Traveling gives me an excuse to buy a couple of travel or overseas property magazines at the airport. I always take a novel or biography with me to read. Often it is enjoyable if I read a novel set in one of the countries that I am visiting like I read Elsa the Lion when I went to Kenya. I found an excellent English language book shop in Riga, Latvia. So I bought three new very small travel books. I can read on a plane and a train but I feel travel sick if I read on a bus or in a car.

I like to read when I'm traveling because it is a great past time. I also listen to music and this is great because usually when traveling a lot of time is at hand and reading up on stuff can be relaxing and worth it too. So i do that anytime I'm traveling. I read any of the Sci Fi books that I have or sometimes stick with fantasy. I usually takes books that I have already read before so that Ido not have to stress myself a lot to understand it .

I should say I always carry a book with me while I am travelling. But I never finish what I suppose to finish the reading.....It just the feeling I guess. Carry a good book with you while on a joyful vacation.
Emm, I often take the romance books with me....hehe
