My daughter had ADD/ADHD and even though she doesn't want her medicine, we have to give it to her. There are things I do here at home to help, but I can only go so far. I also get her teachers at school to help me out. They call me through out the day letting me know if she's been doing good or bad. If she's acted up, we work on it. If not, she puts a sticker on her Good Behavoir chart!!

Yes. If you tried everything else and the child is having trouble in school, then yes give them the medicine. They need it and it will help them out big time.
