where does mylot's benefit come from?

i am wondering one question these days: mylot gives us money on every notes or responds . and there are approximately 14,000 memebers here every sec. impose one discussion could be done in 3mints, the total cost mylot should pay is: 14,000*24*60/3*$0.01=$ 67200 adds the network service fee and salary of their emplyees, and tax, electric power changes...how much mylot should pay per day? and, look at the Ads, i don't think there are enough for supporting so much expense. they all small Ads ,not some benefitable commercial Ads. another thing, the hits, yeah, mylot may has a very high hits, but, does it bring money on hits? who gonna pay for this expense? maybe my question seems very naive . however, i just wanna a little confused friends here, could u explain for me? thank you very much!!
