How old were you when you learned how to use the computer?

I think I was 17 when I first used a computer -- the school had a Tandy and an Apple II , and we all got to use it to see what it was like.
I got my own Commodore 64 a couple of years later. Then in 1985 I started using Microtek VDTs for work. Five years later I was on an Apple Macintosh. During the 1990s I learned my way around PCs.

I was around nine years old when my mom bought us a computer. But the only thing that anyone had to teach me was how to switch it on, lol! But I learnt how to use it like a regular user within, like, two hours or something after switching it on, and been basically a self-taught pro for a few years already.. my parents always thought that I would've been one of those child prodigies that can do some complex computer activities at the age of four if only we had one sooner w

I was in high school when I first tried out a computer. I think I was fourteen then. We were so excited then! We use to sneak up and use the internet. It's not allowed since were supposed to study programming. I sucked at that subject. Haha. I'm lucky I didn't got caught. ;D

There's a photo of me somewhere in my family's storage of me with a computer when I was 4. I remember playing games when I was six. I really started surfing the web when I was nine.
My dad got his master's degree in computer science when I was 8 and his ph.D. when I was 13, so we've had computers around our house all the time.
