Visual BASIC.net - vs- C#.net

Which programming language do you think is better, faster and more reliable. Im a VB programmer for four years, and i just started to study C# They say that C# programmers are paid higher that VB programmers, even that C# guy sucks. They always thought that C# programmers are far greater than VB programmers even they are now standing on the same framework, on the same GUI environment, and with almost same accessibility features. Can anyone tell me if i should shift in C# or rather stay on VB instead? Sorry for my english, im Asian..n_n
