from friends, relatives, schoolmates from way back? i have letters from twelve years ago, letters from my elementary friends who checked how i was doing in high school. it's good to read them once in a while, a pleasant trip down the memory lane. i don't mind the dust of the letters as long as i read the lovely words written by loving friends.
are you like me? do you keep old letters from waaay back?

I do. And i like to read them again and again once in a while. It like transports me back to the past and gives me nice, warm, fussy feelings. I get nostalgic and at the same time i also am emotionally refreshed after having read them. It makes me realize that this is a wonderful life after all. It still is because of those memories. I even keep the love letters of my parents. Oh so beautiful! It's like my collection of antiques - letters written during the mid 60's.

I do but since I moved out of the University I left all the letters there in my boarding house, didn't have the opportunity to get it and since it has been 7 years since I left, I doubt if the letters and some of my things are still there. haay.
but I am a very sentimental one. when I still have the letters, that comes from my high school friends, I love reading it and reminisce the times when we used to exchange letters. It really keeps me away from loneliness even small notes from my bloc mates and friends, I have it before. and oh I still have some here in my house. I remember when I moved in with my then boyfriend now hubby, my closest friend in college decided that we write each other even though there are cellphones. It was fun then, waiting for her letters and going to the post office mailing a letter for her. I still have some of her letters.
