I know most of us think that Nirvana "Nevermind" album is the best classic album of the 90's. However, for me I disagree on that matter. In my opinion, the best album that helped shaped my 90's life is the group called "Lemonheads" and their classic album entitled "It's A Shame About Ray". What's also good about it is that I wasn't the only one who thinks and feels that it deseves an award or recognition but my favorite Brit magazine as well which most of us know as NME or New Musical Experience. Its entirely fitting that the Lemonheads "It's A Shame About Ray" should be the inagural choice. For me it is an album of great charm and warmth that stands the test of time and you can hear the echoes of..."ray" in loads of the great music that is made today. You? Which album is the best during the 90's that deserves to be called as classic?

I would say is was one of the Green Day albums. Either "Dookie" or "Nimrod" both are amazing. They just had so much influence on current rock (still do!) and you can hear them so much in punk, emo, even pop music.

Yeah I agree with you with "Dookie". It helped shaped the pop punk scene in a mainstream level.

what about Radiohead - personally I'd choose The Bends over Ok Computer - or either of the first two Oasis albums?

I agree with you choosing over "The Bends" than "Ok Computer". Yeah, of course the Brits- Oasis' Definitely Maybe and What's The Story Morning Glory. There's just too many to mention. A lot of good stuff surfaced during the 90's.
