Even at my age, I still experienced being bullied by people, especially if I mispronounce a word. I had been struggling for awhile to just let it slip. I've learned that if i don't react to whatever they have to say to me, later on they'll stop. Until now, I have not acquired the habit of fighting back with dirty words just to hurt back, we were not raised like that so even if i wanted to be, I couldn't. Pretending not to get annoyed by it is the best solution I have for this matter. I know a lot of people struggled not be be bullied again. How about you? We're you bullied? How did you end it?

Hello Glechelle,
When I was a teenager, I used to get a sort of bullying because I am only 5'4" tall, while my peers were mostly two or three inches taller.
I used to react to their efforts all of the time, often ending in a fight. In fact, I used to love a good scrap.
The thing I found to be the most powerful weapon in my armoury was to make the best use of the cards I was dealt with. I learned to identify my strengths and cultivate them to as high a standard as I possibly could.
Nowadays, I'm content to be quiet, and allow my abilities to do the fighting back for me - this, I have found, is the most powerful way to shut people up.
I admire your self control under such circumstances, and your willingness to share your experiences publicly on myLot are a very great credit to you.
Never worry - far more people will love you than those who may not.
Best wishes,
GTG

That is a very smart move you've got. I know I don't have much, no excellent skills or good performance at school. But what you've shared is a great motivation to improve myself and be the best I could possibly be so that people would respect me, hopefully.
