This has been my question for the past 2 months. I have been hearing about many review sites - reviewstream, CIAO..My fellow mylotters say that these sites pay the members for writing reviews. But why should they? Do you think they would have link with the various brands? Why should the review sites pay their members for writing reviews about some other brands?

i think the important reason is that they can get more web flux from the internet.the more people write the review in the sit, the more money the websit would earn.so i think that is the real reason why they pay us.I also join some review sits before.but i feel it is diffficult to write some good reviews for me.so now, i just post the responses and discussions here on mylot. i think it is easy to me.and i also could get some earning.
good luck

I have the same question. I'm a member of ciao. Well, I think it's because ciao gets paid for getting reviews from consumers. I noticed that most of the products in ciao are sold in amazon. I think Amazon partnered with them to create a community that writes reviews. Just a thought. I'm really not sure why they pay us. ;D
