univesral music genre

ok, so everybody likes listening to music, but is there any genre that you can listen anytime? no matter if you're sad or happy, or maybe just trying to relax. What's the genre that always gets to you? I like pop music a lot, so i think this would be the kind of genre that i'm talking about. What about you?

The music that I always listen is rock. No matter what I’m feeling, I listen to rock songs. When I’m happy its feel good to sing along with the song and there are lots of sad rock songs that accompany me when I’m sad or in blue.

Definitely, rock music. ^_^ I listen to it when I'm sad, happy, depress...etc.
