... found the game ridiculous. there was such a hype about this game although the genre and the story didn't sound really amusing to me but my friend kept talking about this game all the time. you start with a small organism and evolve into bigger creature and then u get to have a whole community and so on.... so i kept an eye for it's release as well. before it's release, i saw that most of the gaming sites gave a great review (more than 90% on most of the sites) and i thought that 'ok this might actually be a great game after all'. i bought the game myself when it was released and after a couple of level and at the beginning of third level, i began wondering.. "where is the gameplay in this 'game'????" level one, you are an uni-cellular organism, all you do is click click click and change the appearance of the creature and after 20 minutes level completes. level two, your creature gets legs and makes it on land. you run, run and run and collect body parts for your creature (collect body parts!? huh lame!), befriend or eradicate the other creatures and that's all! and u 'evolve' your creature. it's actually nothing like evolution, it's just a creature building tool where you can just remake whole of your character any time u wish to with NO affect of previous characteristics and appearance of the creature... and you can do it over and over again. and before advancing the level you are warned that you wont be able to change the appearance of the creature after this... and i thought well, i guess now the game starts! level three, and now u are establishing a civilization. game on i think but wait... you are again taken to another creature appearance screen this time u r going to 'dress' your creature (WTF!!??). and later there are other creatures on the world, u either befriend them (the tutorial regarding this was plain confusing) or annihilate them and take the loot... and what's the loot...? surprise surprise! more of armour and clothing stuff! and you get to change the appearance of the creatures again. by this time i got fed up of this effed up, so called 'game'. it's just a stupid little program to create creatures and keep changing their appearances with little gameplay element. and that little strategy gameplay elements sucks pretty bad as well. there are far better strategy/fantasy strategy games out there e.g. warcraft frozen throne... is there someone else who has played this game and felt the same way about it? all comments are welcomed
