I am Pagan yet do not follow the Wiccan path. Wicca is a initiatory "mystery" religion that has adopted a blending of many Pagan roots. Some may refer to them as an earth based religion as they do respect and pay homage to all things natural and living. It is a religion that believes each initiate has an obligation to personal development throughout their lives and must seek what is their "True Will". They worship an equal and mated Goddess and God that take many forms and have many names. They do not believe in other religions deities or Gods, nor do they believe in the Christian Devil/Satan. The Wiccan rede is "An(if)it harm none, do as ye will", which is not as simplistic as it sounds. First they must understand through their personal searching and development what their will is, and then must figure out what is harmful and not just unpleasant or painful. Personal growth is sometimes painful and unpleasant yet it is not harmful. They believe that Magik is the development and harnessing of powers that are already inherent within all of us. Becase Wiccans believe that whatever they do magikly will come back to them threefold and they general do not use it for anything that will cause another harm.

Well I am happy to be here. I know what your feeling, so many just accept blanket stero-types of any religion not their own.

Wicca is a modern religion based on older Pagan religions. it was founded round about 1940s/1950s by Gerald Gardner. it's an initiatory tradition, based on Pagan religions and on other initiatory mystery traditions, such as Freemasonry and The Golden Dawn. in order to be considered Wicca, a coven must be able to trace it's lineage through initiation back to the original coven of Gardner. in later years, a sideline group has also arisen, rather more heavily based on ceremonial magic, founded by Alex Sanders. this is known as Alexandrian Wicca. it's actually very interesting.

Wicca stems from paganism and worship and practice and paying homage to dietes and idols and false gods of Baal, Eygpt, and all other false gods. It worships satan and his demons. It is an evil practice and God said to have nothing to do with such and those people will be thrown into eternal damnation if they do not stop using these practices and repent. As to my religion. I read the bible and follow it. I believe in God, the God family, Jesus the Messiah, the Holy Spirit and the Angels of God and salvation for those who seek God and his purpose and will and walk in truth.

nope. that's factually incorrect. neither Wiccans nor any other kinds of Pagan worship Satan. and it's not evil. it seems like your religion has blinded you to finding out real facts. follow your religion, but don't lie about ones you know nothing about.

Niether Wiccans nor Pagans believe in any gods or the devil. They believe in nature. I think that you shouldnt judge others, especially when you dont know anything about them or their beliefs.

Actually they believe in multiple Gods and Goddesses and celebrate their roles in everyday life.

I am a Roman Catholic, but most of my friends were telling that i don't look like a roman catholic when it comes to practice, they say my views and beliefs is Neo Pagan, for sometimes I worship the Deities and ask for aid, and etc, and i think Neo Pagan and Wicca are the Same. Wicca is very nice Religion, because they respect life and in nature, which now adays some people don't care about our nature. And the essence of life is gone, killings are everywhere.

Though I am very spiritual, I don't claim any religion. I think that Wicca is a very respectable religion. Very peaceful and respectful of nature.
