Have you ever watched a movie that wasn't what you expected?

If we see a movie with Robin Williams as the main character, we expect it to be funny. This wasn't completely the case when we saw the movie "Man of the Year". He joked around a lot, but it was not a funny movie, it was quite serious. Although the story line was good, we were disappointed because we thought it would be a comedy. This has been true with a couple other Robin Williams films as well.
Have you ever picked out a movie expecting it to be funny due to the main character, only to be disappointed?

i love movie,i always see a movie with my boyfriend .there were high expectation before we saw it.sometimes we found it serious .but it doesn't matter .i think the main chracter is most important for me.

i have experienced this so many times when i had raised expectations about a movie only to discover the movie is not anywhere near what i expected
