well, i am not that old to mylot. But nowhere in the rules of mylot it mentions that it i dependent on the star rating. i believe that it depends on the quality & the length of the content you pot... & also how regularly you participate, i.e. post or respond to the discussions. thats all it says in the FAQs also .. so it should be dependent on rating.

No, your earnings are not based on the star rating system. Your earnings are based on your participation. You will want to make your discussion topics interesting so you get good responses. When you respond or post discussions, try to write 3 to 5 lines minimum. You want to strive for quality.

jijomathew no your earnings have nothing to do with the number on your star. Only your point count counts. How many responses and discussions and comments you do that is what is counted, also photos you post.

i have read a similar discussion like yours.. and most of the response there is a big NO.. they all say that the stars is our reputation here in mlot. its shows how the other mylotters see us..you get a higher ranking star if you are rated positively and a lower one if you are rated the negatively.Mylot admin has no control to this. so practically,it does not affect our earnings. hope i was helful and hoping you would rate this positively..lol.. thanks! happy mylotting!

I don't think it's the stars that count, I think it's how many postings you have, discussions you have responded to, and quality of responses and postings. Also giving out positive raitings also helps you to increase your earnings here on Mylot. Good luck and happy posting.

No, there is nothing to do with it. That means to say even if your reputation is very low here, it won't have an effect on your earning. I love China
