I wear eyeglasses. I've tried contacts, but they are not for me at all. So, I'm just going to stick with glasses. The thing about glasses is that they have held me from doing some activities that I would have liked to do. Other than that, I don't really notice my glasses. I've never felt self conscious in them. I think I'm attractive enough that the glasses aren't really a problem.

My dear dong 1970 I am using my spec since last 10 yrs and during my ten yrs I have changed several times my specs due to various reasons . But still I use spec and I prefer it becoz using contact lens is no doubt giving a good look to the physique but at the same time there are number of demerits . Contact lens is a foreign particle which we are using in our eyes as all of us know eyes are very sensitive organ in human body. Using contact lens some times may lead to serious eye problems such as irritation in the yes, redness in the eye, if it is not properly fitted in the eye it may lead to various eye related problem. Further it may be used if necessary with the advise of eye specialist.

I have been using my eye glasses for last 30 years and since then I had to change them many a times in the recent past. This is because wit the increase in the age I think the power of your lens get increased. I work for Stud farm where I need to attent horses on regular basis so many a times i get damaged my spectacles. So I always keep three or more of them handy in case it is needed ! I don't find any discomfort with the glasses ! I never have thought of going in for contact lemsesso far.Yes but I would like to have some sleek nice looking frame for my eye glasses which I am using while I am going out ! Other wise I go in for stron framed sturdy type eye glases which can tolerate physical assaults, which they normally tend to face in the field work, which I am involved with. Thanks!

Hi dong i too prefer eyeglasses instead of contact lenses as contact lenses are very sensitive and at times very dangerous.I had been narrated stories of people who burnt their eyes when they neared fire as lenses are made of plastic and they will absorb the fire and can burn the eyes. Its always suggestible to use spectacles than contact lenses.

i'm glad that i don't have to wear eyeglasses or contact lenses as my eyesight is still just as good. Though that might change sooner for all the time I spend staring at the computer screen sometimes for far too long. I may not be able to post so many but I get so engrossed reading others' posts.
My mother is more than 60 years old and I've always seen her with her eyeglasses on. She's not likely to change into contact lenses any day soon coz she's so accustomed to her glasses.

I had a pair of glasses from age 10 to 20 then I have used contact lenses since then. I had two week and then monthly throw away type contact lenses. Then I discovered the joy of wearing daily disposable contact lenses. I would happily ever go back to wearing glasses now that I am sort happy with my contact lenses.

Years ago, I was advised by an opthalmologist to wear eye glasses because my eyes were 75 and it was hard for me to look outside because of the glaring sun, but then whenever I used them, I got the worst headaches, so I stopped using them. I don't wear glasses nor contact lenses now.

Istarted out using eyeglasses but some years back i shifted to contact lens and tried it for a year but after i lost so many contact lens (when it is dry like when it is cold weather and i am outside, the contact lens tend to looseen) and considering the care you have to treat them I shifted back to eyeglasses and i find them more comfortable and convenient.

I'm using reading glasses only so I think I don't need contact lens at all. I've not been happy wearing eyeglasses... I think this has been making my eyes fully dependent on them. Without glasses I now can't read unless the letters are big enough to decipher. There is no substitute to having 20-20 vision. Eyes really are precious so those who still have perfect vision must take care of their eyes. This really is an asset worth being protected and kept.

I am wearing an eye glasses. I use to wear contact lens but I did not took care of it and it cause me bacterial growth on my eye. And another thing, I can't afford a contact lens, my eye grade is very high and I suffer from astigmatism and a contact lens for people like me would cost me a leg.
