How cool is this? When i turned 30, i started to gain weight and never seemed to lose it fast. I guess it's because my metablism began to slow down. I have been through yo-yo dieting, tried diet teas, 3-day diet, lost weight but gained back more than i lost once once i stopped. Then i had babies, and kind of maintained a waistline that's 6 inches more than my waistline back when i was single. For almost two years i have been wanting to lose some pounds but could not seem to find time to exercise nor the will to control my diet since i was breastfeeding. Then just 10 months ago, i noticed ive lost 5 lbs and an inch from my waistline. I was more busy than ever that month and would sleep without dinner. I decided to keep that style, though by maintaining a balanced diet. My last meal would be at 7 and after that i would go to bed at 8. Three months later, i have lost three inches but slowly gained back weight when my diet changed along with my lifestyle. I sleep at 12, having a full stomach. So i started to exercise but did not really kept on after a month. Then i went back to doing my after 7 diet, i just drink tea or juice at 9 and sleep at 10. It's pretty effective because i am just two inches away now from fitting back into my old pair of jeans. Though i noticed that my appetite has increased because of several vitamins that i take, i am still encouraged to lose more by eating in small quantities even if i have to eat 6 times a day. I just need to maintain this no-food-after-7-diet. I am so happy and excited.
What worked for you? And how much have you lost?

hi pinkytabor I am so glad for you.wish I could lose weight
and inches too. I am elderly but my big problem is I am a computer potato, am stuck here all day, also I have a brace on one leg so its hard for me to walk any long distances yet'I do need exercise in order to lose.I am hoping that when we move we will be in a place where I will be motivated to walk a little more. I like the six meals a day thing as it would keep my blood glucose level more even.

Walking will help a lot in your case dear Hatley. But for the time being (and being a computer-potato) try this six-meal a day but go with greens (vegetables and salads.) We have "ampalaya" vegetable in our country which they have developed into a medicine for diabetes. It's in capsule form. I do not know if you have it there now. You can eat healthy with this supplement. ALl the best!

great history of adding weight and trying to lose it!!
after marriage , pregnancy and children it is common , but people , i mean women who are into physical activity , like house hold cleaning etc seldom gain inches to their waist line and stay trim like before!!
eating and working both are contributory factors to this!!

I agree with you - it should be both diet and exercise. But as we women age, it gets harder to lose weight because our metabolism is slowing down. So i think there is always a suitable routine and diet for each of us to be able to maintain a healthy body weight and figure.
