cats vs dogs

okay, they're both cool and cute. As a pet, whcih one do you think will win?
I like cats, they're small, cute and soft. But dogs beat cats as pets, mainly because they're more intelligent and loyal. That's my opinion.

Dogs are better pets if you need someone to guard your house and to play with. I like dogs better than cats, but we have both pets at home. The advantage of having a cat in your home is that, mice and rats are afraid to loiter in your home. Cats don't need as much attention as dogs in terms of feeding. they can find food anywhere unlike dogs that you have to feed at least twice a day... but still, I like dogs better... they are more friendly and ''loyal'' to us humans...

I agree. I too think that having both cats and dogs n a house is the best!
Even though cats and dogs always fight, the dogs keep stray cats out of the compound, and also attacks large garden rats and snakes a cat cannot handle.
A cat can be a companion inside the house, and they don't dirty or upset furniture and utensils, and are easier to keep inside the house than a dog.

I agree with you. I would much rather have a dog over a cat. At least I can train my dog not to jump on the kitchen table, whether I'm at home or not. I had a cat once, but I couldn't deal with all the cat hair everywhere, especially on the table! When we were home the cat knew not to jump on the table, but every afternoon when I got home from work, there was hair all over the table. The cat had to go. I am a proud dog owner now! I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she's a year old now. She's very smart. I wouldn't trade her for the world!

It depends on a person needs for example: Cats can take care of themselves better than a dog and if someone work long hours they would be better off with a cat since, you do have to rush home to let cat outside.
Dogs are good pets and will do anything to please you more than a cat will but dogs do take up more of your time.

I would say dogs. They are intelligent and cute at the same time. they are easier to train and you could always play with them. I dont really like cats that much because most of the time, cats tend to scratch me whenever i try to pet them :D
