well, a few bucks wouldn't hurt. usually around 5-10 bucks would do.... with a note or a card from the tooth fairy... :)

I always left two toonies or a toonie and a loonie. It depends! Her sixth tooth fell out, and it was finally the front tooth, that one was a five dollar tooth. Now that mommy lost her job, maybe we can go back down and say the tooth fairy is feeling the pinch now a says too...???

I know it's already too late for this since it's been weeks since you posted, but I leave my daughter $3. I go get the gold dollars (magic fairy money...ha ha) and leave them under her pillow.
The only problem is I have an insomniac child and if she's excited about something, like getting tooth fairy money, she's up all stinking night. The first tooth she lost, I had to wait until around 3:30 am for her to go to sleep soundly enough that I could trade the tooth for the gold.
Oh, and I also put the dollar coins in a bag or envelope with glitter so it really looks like a fairy left it. ha ha. I love being a sneaky mom!
