Does anyone have a good recipe for meat loaf?

My friend made meat loaf the other day and I've only ever had it once but it smelled so good that I thought I'd try it again but it tasted like crap. She used a pre-packaged seasoning packet from McCormick's or something. Does anyone have a good, from scratch recipe for meat loaf?

LET ME TELL YOU... the recipe is too long to type out but this is THE BEST MEATLOAF I"VE HAD ... EVER. I make this at least twice a month (Sunday's are made for meat loaf)... go to www.foodnetwork.com -- type in "Dad's Meatloaf with Tomato Relish"... it's delicious. The Tomato relish I've used on other stuff -- I make a huge batch and freeze it... in the meatloaf it makes it moist and just really really delicious. Try it once at least once. It's great.
