I love hamburgers but when I make them at home I normally don't season them because I have no idea what to add so that they're yummy like restaurant burgers. I tried using some Worcestershire sauce and a couple of spices but it wasn't impressive. Does anyone have a good recipe for tasty burgers?

My family likes the classic onion burger.
Its very simple to make.
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 lb. ground beef
Mix the 2 together and voila! Shape into burgers and fry or barbecue.

I don't put anything on hamburgers when I cook them except a little salt. One thing I've found that makes them taste better is to heat the buns before putting the meat on. Oh... before you start frying them, fry a little onion in the skillet, then remove it. I always thought it was the smell that made the difference (think McDonald's... it always smells like fried onions).
