Do you belive in destiny?

Do you belive our live paths are predetermined? That we are just living the role that was written for us? Is it possible to change this path?
Afterall we are the superior creatures with mental capabilities, capable to make our own decissions and therefor leading the way of our lives.
What do you think?

Im a little middle of the road with this one to be honest, i believe that some things in life are pre-determind like for example when we will die or when we will have children, but i do think there are a few things in life that we have controll over and we can shape our own destiny to a certain degree, but i do think at the end of the day if god has plans for us, no matter what we do to try and avoid these or stop them they will happen as he is the one in total controll in my eyes
