Have you ever put a canned beverage in the freeze to get cold

and forgot about it and it exploded? that happened to me once, I wanted the drink to quickly get cold, and put it in the freezer. I forgot all about it, the next day when I went to take something out of the freezer, WHAT A MESS I saw. I had to take everything out and clean out the freezer. I do not do thay anymore.

Or, worse, have your 2 liter stuck into the freezer and then when it doesn't defrost someone comes along and drinks it anyway. So all you have left is the diluted Coke. Gross!

I have done that before. ONCE! I do still stick them in the freezer to get them cold, but I never leave them in there for more than about 20 minutes. I like my drinks really cold so I will go this even if it has already been in the fridge too.

Yeah, I rather have the drink cold cold cold, instead of diluting it with ice.
