I am assuming that most of us was able to ride a train at least once in their life. I am now asking how was it? Did you have any unpleasant experience while riding one?
Here in the Philippines especially during the rush hours you should be specially skilled in getting yourself in front while you're waiting to be able to catch the next train ride. The most unpleasant experience I've had was to be elbowed on my left cheek by a man who is struggling to get on the train the same time as I am; The man, notwithstanding, persisted to move forward without even apologizing for the harm he had done. All throughout the ride, I had a burning pain on my left cheek and I was really pissed off but I couldn't complain since I am just using a public transportaion. It ruined my whole day really.
So what about you? Any untoward experience while riding on a train?

There are two, one did not even have anything to getting on the train. The para-transit driver whom I thought was a little insane drove on the train tracks all the way up to the train station. I thought I was going to die that day. My second experience occurred when I was a little kid. My family and I got stuck on a 24 hour train with no food because the train had refrigeration problems. I hated trains after that, and didn't ride one for years.

I used to ride the subway train regularly when I lived in Toronto. I don't recall ever having a terrible experience on one though.
If anything, I've had a few icky experiences while riding on Via Rail trains in Ontario, between London (where I live) and Toronto. On a few occasions, there has been water dripping from the ceiling onto my seats. But the worst can be the bathrooms. I don't even want to describe some of the nastiness. Let's just say I wish I was a man and could stand when I used it. lol.

Well tomorrow will be my first day riding the train. I have to meet up with my organization so we can go to an aids walk. They wont have parking spaces so we have to catch the train. i hope and pray it is a great experience. well there's this video that came out a few months ago on youtube called "Crazy lady on train". it shows a lady on our train system Marta. its funny and terrible at the same time. it represents atlanta's Marta system in a bad way.

When using a public transportation, these types of experiences as you have are common. Its better we try our best to cop with it. Just remember all have many things to do and will be in a hurry. Let's consider that man who harmed you was running to see his mother in hospital. Won't the pain he will be having at heart will be four fold than what you had?

I dont remember a bad experience on the train, I did however had one on the station. It was quite late when I came on the station with a train and had to wait for my parents to pick me up. Soon everyone was gone so I sat on a bench outside the station to wait. Some man came to me, sat next to me and started to grab me!!! I was really shocked but my instinct was to jump up and scream at that man, which must have surprised him and he ran away. I wasnt scare at the time but when I was in my parents car I started to shake all over, thinking what might have happend if he was armed or something like that. Very unplesant experience I must say :/
